Architecture Library to Open at 7:30 a.m. Weekdays

This fall the Architecture Library will be open more hours during the week in order to better serve faculty and student research needs. Starting August 13th, the Architecture Library will open at 7:30 a.m. on weekday mornings.

New Periodicals added to collection


The Architecture Library has recently added a number of new architecture, landscape architecture, and urban planning periodicals to the collection. You’ll find these journals and magazines on the current periodicals shelves in the Architecture Library unless otherwise noted.

World cities is the theme for the Featured Titles shelf this August

Books on Paris, Tokyo, Cairo, Mumbai, and cities around the world are on display in the Architecture Library during the month of August. Any of the materials on the Featured Titles shelves may be checked out.

If you are looking for books on cities in
CardCat, simply search for city names (Hong Kong, Berlin, Montreal, etc.) as SUBJECTS. Choose the Architecture Library as a location to look for books in the library’s collection.

You’ll also find articles on world cities in databases such as The Avery Index to Architectural Periodicals, Access World News, LexisNexis Academic—News, and PAIS International. See the
Architecture Library databases page for links to these databases and more.
